On January 14, 2012, the U-M Graham Environmental Sustainability Institute released a new training tool for faculty, staff, and students to track their progress toward the University’s sustainability and environmental goals. The recent HealthyStuff.org study on toxics in cell phones (for which we were the web and software developers) has created quite a buzz.

NewsWebsite About Toxicity Levels in Cell Phones Released

Today the Ecology Center released its latest study on the levels of toxic chemicals in cell phones. Dozens of the most popular cell phones models were disassembled and the components were tested for their levels of lead, mercury, and other toxics. NewsPlanet Blue Room Goes Live

The University of Michigan Graham Environmental Sustainability Institute released “Planet Blue Room,” this week, a web project designed to increase engagement in campus sustainability efforts by students who live in campus housing. The website (developed by Mouko, LLC) features 40 sustainability goals that students may opt to set for themselves, presented in an engaging manner.

NewsBaldwin Promise College Access Center website goes live

Today, the brand new Drupal website for the Baldwin Promise College Access Center (Baldwin, Michigan) went live. We have been working with Baldwin Promise staff since early this year in building a design, creating content, and incorporating their pictures into the website. Baldwin staff will soon receive training in how to maintain their content.

NewsUniversity of Michigan Hires Mouko to Build Sustainability Websites

The Graham Environmental Sustainability Institute at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) has hired us to develop three websites for various projects related to the University’s Planet Blue initiative. We are very excited to be involved in this project.

NewsMouko Develops Site for Ray Kerns Beauty Supply

Ray Kerns Beauty Supply in Flint, Michigan, has a new Drupal website. We got them up and running and are now helping them develop content. Today at the Panera Bread in Brighton, Michigan we trained their staff to use the CMS. They are now self-sufficient!

The organization is located in Baldwin, Michigan, one of the state's Promise Zones. In the NewsHealthyStuff.org Release New Report-based Site Developed by Mouko

In a new report published today, HealthyStuff.org announced that nearly half the costume jewelry they tested contained high levels of chemicals of concern. The toxic chemicals, including lead, cadmium, and nickel, were often present despite product labels claiming the exact opposite.
